My name is Christina Bush and I live in Vista, California with my husband Tom and our Rottweilers, Baron and Bella. I am a Wealth Manager and owner of CB Wealth Advisory and have been in the financial industry since 1992. I was born an animal lover and raised by a mother who rescued anything and everything that needed a home or some sort of medical care. We had cats, dogs, birds, lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, fish and even a pet garter snake named Lucky. I have been a lifetime supporter of animal protection and education, using my imagery and writings to help improve the lives of animal everywhere, both in the wild and in captivity. I have nearly 30 years of experience working with various species and taking their photographs for numerous organizations and groups all over the world. My images have been featured by National Geographic, Animal Planet, ABC's Extreme Home Makeovers, the International Anti-Fur Coalition, the Paw Project and many others. For several years I also wrote wildlife conservation articles for Expressions Magazine, based in India, to bring awareness to the plight of endangered species. I am the founder of both Youth for Wildlife and Animal Magnetism Photography, which are both platforms I use to share my "passion projects”, doing all I can to be a voice for the animals, promoting the conservation of endangered species.
I began my adventure as a hobby apiarist in 2021 shortly after purchasing some land in Julian, CA where I had the room and opportunity to raise bees. I began scouring the internet and then taking classes through the U.C. Davis California Master Beekeeper Program to gain a knowledge of the craft and joined the local beekeeping society in San Diego. I've read book after book and watched many videos on the subject of beekeeping because I want to give my bees the best life and experience possible, as well as provide my local area with bees to perform the much needed pollination. Despite their small size, honey bees have a monumental impact on the planet and are critical to agriculture and our food sources. The more I've learned, the more I love and am fascinated by the complex honey bee colonies. I originally set up two hives and ordered two packages of bees, which were delivered to my front door by UPS. From the beginning, I developed a great passion for being a steward of the bees and feel honored to be in charge of their care.

My purpose with this website is to provide educational information I've gathered, useful resources and share fascinating photos I've taken of my honey bee friends in hopes of getting more people interested and involved with doing their part to help make our world a better place where the bees can thrive and flourish. I also enjoy showing people the inside of a hive and the wonderful world of bees that they likely will never see for themselves because they will never put on a bee suit. I'm delighted to put mine on, however, and share the rewards of my beekeeping adventures.
Please join me in helping to protect the pollinators, one bee at at time.
